Plague Doctor in Mask

Dark times. The plague raged. People were sick and dying. People’s wills and spirits were being beat down. Those lording over you weren’t telling the truth, and what news you heard was either all bad, or couldn’t be trusted.

1420?

No. Unfortunately, it’s 2020. For all the hopes that 2020 would be kinder to us than the preceding few years, it will be worse. COVID-19 will touch all of us, in some way, whether we become ill or not. There will be political ramifications, economic ramifications, and it will test us. We are, quite simply, living through and making history. We can't change what will happen, and what is likely coming. What we can change, however, is how we react - both as individuals, and corporately, working within our communities and nations. We didn't set the story line, but to a degree, we can write how it ends, by our own individual actions.

Witches and magic always rise up in the worst of times. Why?

We are here, at this place and time, because we were meant to be.

Because we are the answer to the bad times, whatever the time.

Our hearts, minds, spirits and magic, united in purpose, lead the way.

We are called to be lights in the darkness.

We are here for a purpose and a reason.

We are called to be a balm to weary hearts.

We are called.

We rise.

Rise.
