Love, Hate and Waking Up

Degrees.

Everything is all a matter of degrees.

Love is the ultimate power.

Hate is it’s polar opposite.

Good and evil.

Love and hate.

They are the same expression, to varying degrees.

Light is the presence of all color.

Dark is the absence of all color.

Love is the presence of all goodness, kindness, goodwill and tenderness.

Hate is the presence of all animosity, neglect, absence, and anger.

Good is the presence of love, and the spirit of human kindness.  In that fullness of presence and spirit, there is completeness, wholeness - we are made whole by it, made better for it, and the resulting unity makes us all stronger.

Evil is the absence of love, the absence of light, and in the absence, something sinister waits, enabled by absence.  We are ripped asunder by it, separated, and in that absence and separation we find chaos.

Unity brings us closer to what mankind can only label as divine.  The closer we approach to it, the more we feel it, but find ourselves at a lack for words and incapable of describing what we feel.  We are simply overwhelmed and overtaken by grace and majesty.

Chaos, put simply, removes us from that unity, that presence, and leaves us bereft.  Adrift.  Without.  Lacking.  Fearful.

Our lives are illusions, like pictures within pictures.  The Bible says that when we are here in this existence, we see things through a glass, darkly.

Once we shed this existence and are spirit again, not constrained by flesh and blood,

Our blinders are removed.

We see what we have made with our lives to enrich us all collectively,

Or the opportunity we have squandered.

While we are here, we view ourselves as separate.

All of us carry a spark of that which we label as divine.  From that one, infinitesimally tiny, precious spark, our lives are derived.

Our souls.

Separation is an illusion. We are one.

We all carry that spark, and through it, we are not only connected to the divine,

We are connected to one another, like stitches in an infinite tapestry of light.

When we lose our connection to others,

We operate from a place of chaos, and the longer we are separated, the dimmer our spark becomes.

The more of us on the earthly plane that are disconnected, and are subject to chaos, the closer our human existence here is to what we could only define as hell on earth.

To change the world

We must learn to see

The spark of the divine

In you and me.

What makes one of us stronger

Makes all of us stronger.

What weakens or separates one of us

Leaves us all collectively weaker and vulnerable.

When you help a stranger

Or a person in need -

Someone who may be as different from you

As east is from west

You honor the spark within

And operate from a place of unity

Instead of separation.

We need to awaken.

Now.
