​                                  Who am I?  I'm author E.E. Warren,

                                   known as Ellie. 

 

                                  I've been writing stories my whole life,

                                  but it's only since 2018 that I took a class

                                  called DARE...and was challenged to 'take a big audacious DARE"...and a book resulted from it, "The Magic Within Us."  It was the beginning of my Magic Abounds series, and book three was released in September 2024.  There will be other books in that series coming, along with a novel that's a spinoff from the Magic Abounds series, following what happens when one of Helena's employees -  Chrissie - and her sister Lilly come to terms with being 'the kids on the back of the milk carton,' and the magic that ensues.

My most recently published book is my sci-fi debut, just released in March 2025: Song of the Ancients, the first in a series featuring the character Rachel Fielding, a 32-year old astro-archaeologist who has the spirit of a 600-year old dead priestess sharing her body.  It's been in the works - literally - for over 30 years.  I finally dared myself to write it!

What I'm working on currently is the book/series I've been teasing about for four years.  I'm currently working on the first book in my vampire series, "Not Quite Human," as well as a novella that acts as the intro to the world, entitled "Tales of Blood and Eternity."   The writing and research involved is keeping me busy.  I'm doing deep dives into the history of Ancient Egypt...Ancient Sumeria...a period where the Roman Empire had a hard time keeping it's sh*t together, aptly called the "Crisis of the 3rd Century," and more about the Royal House of Basarab than I ever cared to know.

As for me, I currently reside in Seven Valleys, PA in an agricultural area. I live with my husband and three cats.  I love that I can look out my front window, and see horses and deer, and from my back, I have a woods and a fairy circle, and the whole house basically sits on a giant slab of quartz crystal.  It has a peaceful vibe.  I have two sisters; One of them is my next door neighbor, the other I'm working on writing "Not Quite Human" and creating a deck of Oracle cards with, and I have a grown daughter named Sam - who has patiently been gathering up all the errors in the printed versions of the Magic Abounds series, so I can fix them and update all of them as second editions.  Thanks, Sam, for your help!  (She also reorganized my kitchen for me. Every little bit helps.)

The number one question I get asked is, "Are you going to do an audiobook?"  The answer is "YES!"  I'm working on the audiobooks for "Song of the Ancients" and "The Magic Within Us" right now, and the others will follow.  It takes time, but it's coming!  They'll be on Audible.com once they're done...I didn't think THAT was going to happen, but...it is!  I'm trying to do the sneak peeks audio versions as AI voices...not so fond of the sound, but it'll work for now.
